Dr. Gunnlaugsson graduated from the University of Iceland in June of 1999. He completed his Internal Medicine Internship and Residency at the University of Wisconsin in June of 2001. His Cardiovascular Medicine Fellowship was completed in June of 2004 at the University of Iowa. Dr. Gunnlaugsson became part of the HIMG Cardiology Team in July, 2005.
