Payment Posting Clerk – Full-Time

HIMG is seeking a competent individual to post payments and denials in an accurate and timely manner. Duties will include:

• Sort mail and complete deposits daily
• Download electronic remits and correct errors as needed.
• Make adjustments and corrections to patient accounts as needed.
• Properly identify overpayments and refund to appropriate party as assigned.
• Complete various reports and financial documentations in a timely manner as assigned.
• Apply unapplied payments correctly.

A person in this role will be required to read, write and communicate effectively with patients, health care providers, and insurance companies. Ophthalmic Tech - Full Time

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
• Knowledge of the anatomy of the eye and terminology associated with the eye

CLINICAL RESPONSIBILITES

Physical Therapy Assistant - Full Time

Department: Physical Therapy
At HIMG PT, Physical Therapist Assistants (PTAs) will work in a team based environment alongside a Physical Therapist (PT). The PTA’s role is to assist and collaborate with the staff of Physical Therapists to provide the best possible patient experience and outcomes through a hands on treatment approach heavily based in a mechanical evaluation and treatment philosophy including manual therapy and therapeutic exercise progression. The ability to critically think and analyze a patient’s response to treatment is required in this team based approach. Skills and functions required of a PTA, while working under the supervision and direction of a licensed physical therapist, include, but are not limited to:
• Efficiently and effectively implementing a patient POC as developed by a PT.
• Effectively utilize skills learned as a PTA to provide 1:1 care to a patient including both manual therapy interventions and therapeutic exercise from activity log as well as being able to progress as the patient needs within the prescribed POC
• Maintain accurate patient documentation and treatment records including objective measurements for progress note documentation
• Review and correct electronic billing as needed to accurately reflect the services provided each session
• Clean treatment tables, rooms, and equipment after patient use
• Attend and participate in weekly staff meetings, in-services, training, and educational activities.
• Maintain good communication and consult with the PT on a daily and case by case basis as to any changes in the patient’s condition or response to treatment that may require re-evaluation or change in POC or goals
Required Skills
• Associate degree from an accredited and American Physical Therapy Association approved Physical Therapist Assistant Program
• Licensed or eligible to be licensed in West Virginia
• Ability to relate, work well, and communicate with patients, peers, and supervisors
• Excellent communication skills

This individual must be extensively fluent in computer technology as well as electronic health record systems This individual will assist a physician throughout their shift. The individual will complete paperwork and Electronic Health Record information for the physician. The primary goal of a Medical Scribe is to increase the efficiency and the productivity of the physician they are working for. Any Secretarial Position - Full-Time

Department: Any Department
HIMG routinely looks for individuals for open/soon to open Secretarial positions in our group. Some duties may include scheduling patient appointments & maintaining physicians' schedules; schedule patient referrals and pre-certifications; assisting patients with check-out process; answering office phones and take messages.

A person in this role will be required to work with a computerized Electronic Health Record (EHR) and demonstrate the ability to use a computer and office software programs. High school diploma or GED required. Knowledge of medical terminology and experience working in a multi-physician medical practice is highly desired.

Typical schedule will be M-F normal business hours although hours may vary depending on actual department need.
