Pulmonary Function Technologist - Part-Time

Pulmonary Function Technologist

HIMG is seeking a Part – Time Pulmonary Function Technologist.

Candidate must have associate degree in respiratory therapy or certification in PFT testing. Must have previous PFT testing experience, good communicating skills as well as being proficient in typing and good at spelling, punctuation, grammar, and oral communication. Must be able to listen to complex medical information and record accurately in the medical record and have knowledge of medical terminology.

• Support and adhere to the mission, vision, values and expectations of HIMG.
• Performs all parts of pulmonary function testing including Diffusion Capacity to gather date for use by physician to diagnosis and treat pulmonary disorders.
• Explains and demonstrates each test procedure, and methods of breathing to patients before conducting the pulmonary function tests.
• Administers medication when required via inhaler or nebulizer.
• Be discreet, tactful, and modest in performance of duties so as not to distract medical staff from patient care.
• Assists with paperwork.
• Six minute walk test if needed.

HIMG routinely looks for individuals for open/soon to open Registration Clerk positions in our group. These individuals work in a variety of departments and register patients for appointments. Must be able to:
• Verify patient & insurance information, making updates & /or corrections
• Collect payments from patients & provide account balances & issue receipts
• Scan demographic sheet & insurance cards into system
• Post payments to patient account immediately
• Reconcile cash drawer daily

To work in this position, you must have a flexible schedule and be willing to work some weekends in our Nowcare clinic (closes at 3pm) and evenings (up to 7pm). Hours will be approximately 20-25 hours per week, although may be more during peak vacation seasons. Customer services skills including a pleasant, patient focus demeanor is critical for success in this a registration opening.

HIMG is seeking a Registered Nurse or LPN to provide assistance to our Board Certified Plastic surgeon and staff in the ULTIMATE Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery Department in our facility. This individual will be highly organized and detail oriented. They will provide a safe, knowledgeable, compassionate individualized care to all patients.

• Duties may include but are not limit to:
• Manage patient workflow, including obtaining medical history
• Scheduling patients and work with other medical facilities/departments to obtain patient information
• Knowledgeable of products and services for this department
• Serve as patient advocate during patient exams or treatments and answer any questions patients have regarding upcoming procedures
• Ensure Proper consent forms are obtained prior to preparing patients for treatment
• Prepares and administers medications as directed by physician
• Performs accurate documentation of all procedures in a timely manner
• Assist the surgeon with surgical instruments and supplied and maintain aseptic technique during sterile procedures
• Suture removal and changing dressings on wounds

1 year of experience in a plastic and reconstructive surgery department or experience with surgery procedures preferred but not required.

Chronic Care LPN - Full-Time

HIMG is offering an exciting opportunity for LPN’s to work with primary care patients who have 2 or more chronic care needs and are obtaining primary care services with HIMG. Day to day responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Identifying qualifying patients based on program guidelines;
• Discussing health issues with the patients in person and over the phone;
• Working with the physicians and/or established treatment guidelines to create personal care plans for chronic conditions;
• Maintaining documentation of activities as needed by the program guidelines.

Candidates must possess strong clinical skills and the ability to communicate with all levels of Medicare patients and personnel. Time management skills and strong organizational skills are a must. Must be able to work in a team environment as well as have the ability to work alone. Requires 3 or more years of previous nursing experience. Must be able to produce a valid current WV nursing license.

Chronic Care LPN positions will be Monday through Friday with typical business hours – No evening, weekend or major holiday hours required!

LPN - Full Time

LPN– Full-time
HIMG's Electrophysiology department is Seeking a dependable and hardworking LPN to provide nursing support. Duties may may include, but are not limited to:

1. Support and adhere to the mission, vision, values and expectations of HIMG.
2. Assess patient’s general condition and take vitals and history.
3. Assist physician with examinations, diagnostic procedures and treatments.
4. Document all activities, interventions, and medications in medical record/Intergy.
5. Provide patient education materials, and communicate physician’s advice and instructions.
6. Address all “Tasks” that are sent to you in a timely fashion.

This position will be a dayshift position. It requires teamwork and excellent communication, as it will be working with a team that includes medical assistants, secretarial support and providers.

A minimum of one (1) year of experience as an LPN is preferred but not required; preference also given to candidates with exposure and experience in Electrophysiology or Cardiology. Valid WV LPN license required

Quality Care Programs Coordinator - Full - Time

This staff member will be responsible for:
Tracking and reporting quality measure scores and progress to the manager
Meeting with payers with Quality Care programs to review scores, changes and relay issues
Relaying changes in targeted care gaps to managers, staff and providers
Retrieving applicable data from the Intergy system and apply it to the care program requirements
Determining the most efficient way to alert the provider of needed testing for individual patients and implementing that process
Mining data from the patient chart to report to payers and close gaps
Entering Annual Wellness Visit (AWV) data into the payer systems
Tracking AWV appointments to assure all STARS and gap requirements are ordered and that AWV overall goals are met for the year.

A person in this roles must have successfully completed a sleep technology program, associated with a state licensed and/or a nationally accredited educational facility or hold a Certified Polysomnographic Technician (CPSGT) credential or equivalent.

Medical Scribe LPN - Full-Time

HIMG is currently looking for an organized and motivated individual to be a Medical Scribe in our Primary Care Department.

This individual must be extensively fluent in computer technology as well as electronic health record systems This individual will assist a physician throughout their shift. The individual will complete paperwork and Electronic Health Record information for the physician. The primary goal of a Medical Scribe is to increase the efficiency and the productivity of the physician they are working for. The Medical Scribe allows the doctor to focus on what is most important, the patient.
