Front Desk Specialist - Physical Therapy - Full-Time

HIMG is looking for an experienced individual to work the front desk in our Physical Therapy office. An individual in this role will need to perform the following duties:

• Positive and friendly attitude (via phone and in-person) -- Understanding that you are the first impression of the clinic!
• Scheduling patients’ appointments

• Faxing/Receiving patient documentation
• Ability to multitask – answering phones, acknowledging patients presence, etc.

Business Resolution Associate - Full-Time

Department: Business Office
Seeking a Business Resolutions Associate to negotiate payment arrangements and obtain payments from patients via the telephone. Will receive inbound and make outbound collect calls, answer patient billing questions, research issues and provide follow-up, document and log every account worked in EHR system, and more. Physical Therapy Assistant Evening Shift - Full-time

Department: Physical Therapy
HIMG is searching for a full time Physical Therapy Assistant to support our Therapist working the evenings shifts.
At HIMG PT, Physical Therapist Assistants (PTAs) will work in a team based environment alongside a Physical Therapist (PT). The PTA’s role is to assist and collaborate with the staff of Physical Therapists to provide the best possible patient experience and outcomes through a hands on treatment approach heavily based in a mechanical evaluation and treatment philosophy including manual therapy and therapeutic exercise progression. The ability to critically think and analyze a patient’s response to treatment is required in this team based approach. Skills and functions required of a PTA, while working under the supervision and direction of a licensed physical therapist, include, but are not limited to:
• Efficiently and effectively implementing a patient POC as developed by a PT.
• Effectively utilize skills learned as a PTA to provide 1:1 care to a patient including both manual therapy interventions and therapeutic exercise from activity log as well as being able to progress as the patient needs within the prescribed POC
• Maintain accurate patient documentation and treatment records including objective measurements for progress note documentation
• Review and correct electronic billing as needed to accurately reflect the services provided each session
• Clean treatment tables, rooms, and equipment after patient use
• Attend and participate in weekly staff meetings, in-services, training, and educational activities.
• Maintain good communication and consult with the PT on a daily and case by case basis as to any changes in the patient’s condition or response to treatment that may require re-evaluation or change in POC or goals
Required Skills
• Associate degree from an accredited and American Physical Therapy Association approved Physical Therapist Assistant Program
• Licensed or eligible to be licensed in West Virginia
• Ability to relate, work well, and communicate with patients, peers, and supervisors
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, which includes evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Chronic Care LPN - Full-Time

Chronic Care Management LPN
HIMG is offering an exciting opportunity for LPN’s to work with primary care patients who have 2 or more chronic care needs and are obtaining primary care services with HIMG. Day to day responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Identifying qualifying patients based on program guidelines;
• Discussing health issues with the patients in person and over the phone;
• Working with the physicians and/or established treatment guidelines to create personal care plans for chronic conditions;
• Maintaining documentation of activities as needed by the program guidelines.

Candidates must possess strong clinical skills and the ability to communicate with all levels of Medicare patients and personnel. Time management skills and strong organizational skills are a must. Must be able to work in a team environment as well as have the ability to work alone. Requires 3 or more years of previous nursing experience. Must be able to produce a valid current WV nursing license.

• Reconcile cash drawer daily

To work in this position, you must have a flexible schedule and be willing to work some weekends in our Nowcare clinic (closes at 3pm) and evenings (up to 7pm). Hours will be approximately 20-25 hours per week, although may be more during peak vacation seasons. Customer services skills including a pleasant, patient focus demeanor is critical for success in this a registration opening.
