LPN - Full Time

HIMG's Oncology department is Seeking a dependable and hardworking LPN to provide nursing support for a variety of physicians. Duties may may include, but are not limited to:

• Monitor physical conditions and administer chemotherapy and other treatments;
• Triaging patients questions/concerns both in office and via telephone;
• Providing patient assessment and other duties typical of an LPN.

This position will be a dayshift position. It requires teamwork and excellent communication, as it will be working with a team that includes medical assistants, secretarial support and providers.

A minimum of one (1) year of experience as an LPN is preferred but not required; preference also given to candidates with exposure and experience in Oncology. Valid WV LPN license required

Patient Communication Specialist - Full - Time

Seeking a courteous and efficient individual to work in the HIMG call center, assisting call-in patients with needs. Responsibilities include:
• Scheduling/rescheduling appointments

Certified Medical Assistant - Oncology - Full Time

Department: Oncology
Front Office Certified Medical Assistant

HIMG is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to work in the front office of our fast paced Oncology Department. This will be a strictly front office position.

Duties may include but are not limited to:
• scheduling patient appointments and physicians' schedules,
• ordering lab work and other tests per provider’s instructions,
• scheduling referrals and surgeries,
• completing patient pre-certifications,
• answering phones, & taking messages.

Must be a graduate of an accredited MA program and have a current MA certification. Previous experience assisting with procedures or working in a multi-physician practice is preferred, but not required.

Typical schedule will be Monday through Friday during normal business hours.

Scanning Clerk - Full Time 32 Hours

Scanning AP Clerk - Part Time

Department: Finance
HIMG is looking for a motivated and dependable individual to work as a scanning clerk in our finance department. The job responsibilities include but are not limited to:

2. Scan documents into DOM and/or Docuscan or other programs as needed.

Urodynamic Technician - Per-Diem

Department: Urology
HIMG is looking for a urodynamic technician for our Urology Department. The urodynamic technician assists the physician in the analyzation of symptoms of problems with the urinary tract through testing of the bladder function.

Urodynamic technicians are responsible for prepping the room and patient for testing, performing and/or assisting the physician with specialized bladder function tests, collecting data, specimens, and/or printed results for the physician to interpret, administering urinary catheterizations and inserting drainage tube irrigations.

Making the patient comfortable and/or assisting the patient onto special equipment to collect data electronically may be required. Other responsibilities may include managing materials and supplies inventory, maintaining the status of the equipment and supplies.
Strong attention to detail and a high degree of precision is required. A professional demeanor and effective communication skills are a must.

Medical Scribe - Full-Time

HIMG is currently looking for an organized and motivated individual to be a Medical Scribe in our Primary Care Department.

This individual must be extensively fluent in computer technology as well as electronic health record systems This individual will assist a physician throughout their shift. The individual will complete paperwork and Electronic Health Record information for the physician. The primary goal of a Medical Scribe is to increase the efficiency and the productivity of the physician they are working for. The Medical Scribe allows the doctor to focus on what is most important, the patient.

• Document the physician dictated patient history, physical examination, family, social, and past medical history
• Document procedures, lab results, dictated radio-graphic impressions made by the supervising physician and any other information pertaining to the patient's encounter

Seeking a hard working individual to assist with billing and insurance pre-certifications for a fast-paced medical office. Typical responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Obtain proper insurance authorizations to perform specific medical procedures associated with oncology treatment.
• Work through denials and advising providers of any “off label” use that may not be reimbursed.
• Oversees financial matters related to chemotherapy and related treatment, by capturing charges, collecting payments,, monitoring account balances, and reconciling claims.
• Investigates third party reimbursement opportunities through indigent and co-pay assistance plans. Candidates must be able to communicate effectively with patients, physicians and insurance carriers and similar.

Assistant Clinical Manager - Full Time

Department: Specialty Care & Cardiology
HIMG is seeking a qualified individual for the role of Assistant Clinical Manager for Specialty Care and Cardiology. The primary duties include, but not limited to:
1. Support and adhere to the mission, vision, values and expectations of HIMG.
2. Manage operational matters within the departments including, but not limited to: staff scheduling and oversight; payroll processing; responding to patient concerns; controlling costs and assuring operational efficiencies.
3. Monitor staff progress and find solutions to improve their production.
4. Resolve hard to obtain pre-certifications that are unresolved by staff.
5. Recognize and document issues and provide appropriate solutions in each department.
6. Monitor phone calls to ensure appropriate patient service. Provide counseling or corrective action to staff members not performing to company standards.

Optician - Part-Time

Department: Optometry
HIMG is seeking a licensed Optician to work in our optometry department as well as our Optical Shop. This positions will be Wenesdays and Fridays from 8:30am-5:30pm. Wednesdays will be a secretarial and registration position in the optometry department and Friday will be a optician in the optical shop.

This individual will assist clients in selecting frames, process all orders for glasses and contacts, maintain records of customer prescriptions, work orders, and payments, recommend specific lenses, lens coatings, and frames to suit client needs, instruct clients on how to insert, remove, and care for contact lenses and care for eyeglasses, perform administrative duties such as tracking inventory and sales, submitting patient insurance information, and performing simple bookkeeping, repair damaged frames, arrange and maintain displays of optical merchandise, and more. Will help patients register for their appointments, answer the phone, schedule appointments, assist with with patient concerns and more.

Must be flexible to cover to other team members’ vacation time.

Sleep Technician - Per Diem

HIMG is looking for a Per Diem sleep technician for our sleep clinic. A person in this roles must have successfully completed a sleep technology program, associated with a state licensed and/or a nationally accredited educational facility or hold a Certified Polysomnographic Technician (CPSGT) credential or equivalent.

Duties include, but are not limited to
•Comply with applicable laws, regulations, guidelines and standards regarding safety and infection control issues.
•Perform routine equipment care and maintenance and inventory evaluation.
•Maintain current CPR or BLS certification.

Pulmonary Function Technologist - Part-Time

Department: Pulmonary
HIMG is seeking a Pulmonary Function Technologist in our Pulmonary department. This will be a regular part time position with weekend hours.

Candidate must have an associates degree in Respiratory Therapy or Certification in PFT testing
Previous PFT experience required.
Must be able to communicate clearly and efficiently
Must be able to learn and use the functions of electronic medical software to accurately record information.

Duties may include but are not limited to
•Support and adhere to the mission, vision, values and expectations of HIMG.
•Performs all parts of pulmonary function testing including Diffusion Capacity to gather date for use by physician to diagnosis and treat pulmonary disorders.
•Explains and demonstrates each test procedure, and methods of breathing to patients before conducting the pulmonary function tests.
•Administers medication when required via inhaler or nebulizer.
•Be discreet, tactful, and modest in performance of duties so as not to distract medical staff from patient care.
•Assists with paperwork.
•Six minute walk test if needed.

Any Business Office Position - Full-Time

Department: Business Office
HIMG routinely looks for individuals for open/soon to open business office/clerical positions in our group. Such positions could include clerks in billing, collections, pre-certification, payment posting, charge entry &/or coding. Duties vary based on individual job requirements, but may involve working with billing information, speaking with patients regarding payment plans & bills, obtaining proper insurance authorizations to perform specific medical procedures; posting payments to accounts, ensuring that procedures are coded & posted correctly.

Candidates must have a high School diploma/GED & be able to maintain patient confidentiality & demonstrate keyboarding/data entry & clerical skills.
