Phlebotomist - Part - Time

Phlebotomist – Part-time
Seeking a friendly and competent Phlebotomist to work in a multi-practice medical environment. A person in this role:
• Performs capillary and venipunctures (needle sticks);
• Must accurately manage specimens by providing labeling and handling;
• Prepares work orders for collections;
• Interprets diagnostic codes and understand when and how to collect.

Must have HS diploma and completed an accredited Phlebotomy program. Phlebotomy certificate required (ASCP/ASPT or equivalent). This position may require you to move freely about the building and perform light lifting. Experience desirable, but not required. Must be able to demonstrate an understanding of medical terminology common in a laboratory environment. 20-30 hours per week.

Lab Tech - Part Time

Medical Technologist
HIMG is looking for a Part Time Medical Technologist for our in-house lab. Applicant must have graduated from an accredited MLT or MT program, be ASCP certified, and state licensed. Must have a flexible schedule willing and able to work all shifts and rotate weekends.
Duties may include but are not limit to:
1. Conduct lab testing on all specimens submitted to lab for that purpose.
2. Conduct quality control procedures according to established guidelines.
3. Operate, calibrate, and maintain laboratory instrumentation.
4. Review and report laboratory results.
5. Participate in laboratory proficiency testing program as assigned.
6. Prepare specimens for shipment to reference laboratories.
7. Document all technical activities performed.

RN - Remote Device - FT

Department: Electrophysiology
Register Nurse EP Device – Full-time
Seeking a dependable and hardworking registered nurse (RN) to provide device support for our Electrophysiology Department.
An individual in this role with typically be working with remote devices. This can included working with device representatives, physicians and patients. This position requires teamwork and excellent communication, as it will be working with a team that includes medical assistants, secretarial support and providers.

Orders and reviews cardiac monitors.
Coordinate and follow-up of patient cardiovascular device checks, remote check
Nurse work closely with providers for device management.
Nurse will provide appropriate education to patient and family including information regarding device function.

Physical Therapy Assistant Evening Shift - Full-time

HIMG is searching for a full time Physical Therapy Assistant to support our Therapist working the evenings shifts.
At HIMG PT, Physical Therapist Assistants (PTAs) will work in a team based environment alongside a Physical Therapist (PT). The PTA’s role is to assist and collaborate with the staff of Physical Therapists to provide the best possible patient experience and outcomes through a hands on treatment approach heavily based in a mechanical evaluation and treatment philosophy including manual therapy and therapeutic exercise progression. The ability to critically think and analyze a patient’s response to treatment is required in this team based approach. Skills and functions required of a PTA, while working under the supervision and direction of a licensed physical therapist, include, but are not limited to:
• Efficiently and effectively implementing a patient POC as developed by a PT.
• Effectively utilize skills learned as a PTA to provide 1:1 care to a patient including both manual therapy interventions and therapeutic exercise from activity log as well as being able to progress as the patient needs within the prescribed POC
• Maintain accurate patient documentation and treatment records including objective measurements for progress note documentation
• Review and correct electronic billing as needed to accurately reflect the services provided each session
• Clean treatment tables, rooms, and equipment after patient use
• Attend and participate in weekly staff meetings, in-services, training, and educational activities.
• Maintain good communication and consult with the PT on a daily and case by case basis as to any changes in the patient’s condition or response to treatment that may require re-evaluation or change in POC or goals
Required Skills
• Associate degree from an accredited and American Physical Therapy Association approved Physical Therapist Assistant Program
• Licensed or eligible to be licensed in West Virginia
• Ability to relate, work well, and communicate with patients, peers, and supervisors
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, which includes evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Chronic Care LPN - Full-Time

HIMG is offering an exciting opportunity for LPN’s to work with primary care patients who have 2 or more chronic care needs and are obtaining primary care services with HIMG. Day to day responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Identifying qualifying patients based on program guidelines;
• Discussing health issues with the patients in person and over the phone;
• Working with the physicians and/or established treatment guidelines to create personal care plans for chronic conditions;
• Maintaining documentation of activities as needed by the program guidelines.

Candidates must possess strong clinical skills and the ability to communicate with all levels of Medicare patients and personnel. Time management skills and strong organizational skills are a must. Must be able to work in a team environment as well as have the ability to work alone. Requires 3 or more years of previous nursing experience. Must be able to produce a valid current WV nursing license.

• Reconcile cash drawer daily

To work in this position, you must have a flexible schedule and be willing to work some weekends in our Nowcare clinic (closes at 3pm) and evenings (up to 7pm). Hours will be approximately 20-25 hours per week, although may be more during peak vacation seasons. Customer services skills including a pleasant, patient focus demeanor is critical for success in this a registration opening.
