Seeking a hard working individual to complete insurance pre-certifications and benefit checks for a fast-paced medical office. Duties include:
• obtaining proper insurance authorizations to perform specific medical procedures;

HIMG is seeking a Part – Time Pulmonary Function Technologist.

Candidate must have associate degree in respiratory therapy or certification in PFT testing. Must have previous PFT testing experience, good communicating skills as well as being proficient in typing and good at spelling, punctuation, grammar, and oral communication. Must be able to listen to complex medical information and record accurately in the medical record and have knowledge of medical terminology.

• Support and adhere to the mission, vision, values and expectations of HIMG.
• Performs all parts of pulmonary function testing including Diffusion Capacity to gather date for use by physician to diagnosis and treat pulmonary disorders.
• Explains and demonstrates each test procedure, and methods of breathing to patients before conducting the pulmonary function tests.
• Administers medication when required via inhaler or nebulizer.
• Be discreet, tactful, and modest in performance of duties so as not to distract medical staff from patient care.
• Assists with paperwork.
• Six minute walk test if needed.

Phlebotomist - Part-Time

Phlebotomist – Part-time
Seeking a friendly and competent Phlebotomist to work in a multi-practice medical environment. A person in this role:
• Performs capillary and venipunctures (needle sticks);
• Must accurately manage specimens by providing labeling and handling;
• Prepares work orders for collections;
• Interprets diagnostic codes and understand when and how to collect.

Must have HS diploma and completed an accredited Phlebotomy program. Phlebotomy certificate required (ASCP/ASPT or equivalent). This position may require you to move freely about the building and perform light lifting. Experience desirable, but not required. Must be able to demonstrate an understanding of medical terminology common in a laboratory environment. 20-30 hours per week.

HIMG is offering an exciting opportunity for LPN’s to work with primary care patients who have 2 or more chronic care needs and are obtaining primary care services with HIMG. Day to day responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Identifying qualifying patients based on program guidelines;
• Discussing health issues with the patients in person and over the phone;
• Working with the physicians and/or established treatment guidelines to create personal care plans for chronic conditions;
• Maintaining documentation of activities as needed by the program guidelines.

Candidates must possess strong clinical skills and the ability to communicate with all levels of Medicare patients and personnel. Time management skills and strong organizational skills are a must.
