Reimbursement Clerk - Full Time

Department: Business Office
Reimbursement Clerk – Full-time
HIMG is seeking a competent individual to assist in obtaining payment reimbursement from insurance carriers and other payer sources for services rendered. Duties will include:
• Review denials and aging reports on specific carriers, then take appropriate action with the carrier in an attempt to obtain payment;
• File or re-file claims and provide additional information to the carriers as necessary;
• Assist with projects to reduce the number of denied claims;
• Report improvements or process changes that may aid in ensuring future claims are correctly filed the first time.

A person in this role will be required to work independently while meeting reimbursement quotas. Candidates must be able to maintain patient confidentiality and demonstrate general office computer skills. The ideal candidates will have some prior reimbursement experience or experience working in a medical setting with understanding of insurance and associated terminology. Requires a high school diploma/GED.

Pre-Certification Billing Clerk - Full Time

Department: Oncology
The Oncology department at HIMG is look for an experienced hard working Pre certification clerk.
This is a full time position.
This individual will assist with billing and insurance pre-certifications for a fast-paced medical office. Typical responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Obtain proper insurance authorizations to perform specific medical procedures associated with oncology treatment.
• Work through denials and advising providers of any “off label” use that may not be reimbursed.
• Oversees financial matters related to chemotherapy and related treatment, by capturing charges, collecting payments,, monitoring account balances, and reconciling claims.
• Investigates third party reimbursement opportunities through indigent and co-pay assistance plans. Candidates must be able to communicate effectively with patients, physicians and insurance carriers and similar.

• Must have strong knowledge of Coding

• Must have previous work with medical insurance and understand plan differences
• Must be able to maintain patient confidentiality and demonstrate keyboarding/data entry and clerical skills. .

The ideal candidates will have thei CPC certification as well as some prior pre-certification experience or experience working in a medical setting with understanding of insurance and associated terminology. Requires high school diploma/GED

Radiology Technologist - Part Time

Department: Radilogy
HIMG is looking for a Part Time Radiology Technologist This positions will have flexible hours that could included evenings and weekends
Duties may include, but are not limited to:
1. Prepare patients for Radiological procedures.
2. Perform routine Radiological duties and procedures including fluoroscopy.
3. Prepare contrast for barium studies.
4. Follow all radiation safety and rules.
5. Ensure equipment is in working order and report equipment malfunctions to appropriate person.
6. Maintain examination room cleanliness.
7. Maintain necessary supplies in exam rooms.
8. Understand the various radiologists’ protocols for preparing and removing patient exams from Multiviewers.

RN - Urology - Part Time

Seeking a part-time RN in our Urology clinic.
A person in this role must be able to multi task as well as stay organized.

Specific responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

• Assists physician with all aspects of the patient visit.
• Performs select clinical testing, but not limited to: urinalysis, urine culture and sensitivity, bladder scans, etc.
• Assists with all Urology procedures.

This position will be Monday-Friday dayshift though hours may vary. It requires teamwork and excellent communication, as it will be working with a team that includes medical assistants, secretarial support and providers.

A minimum of one (1) year of experience as an RN is preferred; preference also given to candidates with exposure to electronic health record systems and experience in specialty clinics. Valid WV RN license required.

A person in this roles must have successfully completed a sleep technology program, associated with a state licensed and/or a nationally accredited educational facility or hold a Certified Polysomnographic Technician (CPSGT) credential or equivalent.

To work in this position, you must have a flexible schedule and be willing to work some weekends in our Nowcare clinic (closes at 3pm) and evenings (up to 7pm). Hours will be approximately 20-25 hours per week, although may be more during peak vacation seasons. Customer services skills including a pleasant, patient focus demeanor is critical for success in this a registration opening.
